XP doesn't want to boot and cannot afford loosing my documents. so my question is ..... Does the Repair Install from the XP setup partition page delete my documents and other installed programs? thanks

i do run COD4 on windows7 64 bit !!! not problems so far did u install pacthes 1.1 to 1.7 ? did u install the game in the "Program Files (x86)" and not in "Program Files" ?

well IMO if u have 64bit CPU with 2GB - 4GB or ram and and DX10 / DX11 video card buy windows 7 64 bit if u don't have the above requirements go for XP 32-bit. theres no point in buying a new 32bit operating system I loaded my acer 5739G with win7 x64bit and its stable
