I bought a new WD40EZRZ from Amazon and I just connected it and it is getting an I/O error when I try to initialize it to GPT. Then I use disk part to clean which is successful, but when I try to convert to gpt it again gets an I/O error. I check the event viewer and it says "8007045D@02070008...

I like the CPU and Memory, they very look good. Don't know about the MOBO though, especially since it's Gigabyte. Also I don't know much about MOBO specs other than what's important for compatibility for other components, which I suppose is the most important aspect.

The CPU is defenitely keeping up as no matter what my graphic settings are it never even gets near 90% usage and rarely is around 80%. CPU, MOBO, and RAM is more than I can afford to upgrade at once. Only looking to upgrade one component right now.

Looking to rebuild over a year, so my budget depends on the component. No more the $400 CAD on a GPU for example and ideally around $300 CAD.

Yeah GTX 1660 Ti would be the better way to go. Don't have my PSU details at the moment.

Looks like RX Vega 56 or GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is the way to go depending on the price.
