It's connected by 2x8 pin cables but it has 1x8 pin and 1x6pin slots. VGA 1 and VGA 2 slots. My PSU is single rail 12v 64.2A ? (EVGA 750W G2 Gold +). When I go to menu in the game GPU usage goes to 91%.... But when I go back to game its 30% and i get so low fps regarding the graphic settings...

Mine was not set to "high performance" unfortunately this did not fix it but its done now. Also I forgot to mention when I am in game and press ESC (goes to menu, game is paused on the background) i get 120fps. And also when i go to desktop my GPU usage goes to 92%. What could be causing this...

There is nothing to worry about that idle temperature. And there is really nothing to but clean for dust (compressed air) or make a custom fan profile to keep it cooler (this will make for more noice)

I don't have an answer to this. I will give you coozie7 the "solution" for helping me. I will do a new thread as I have noticed that Witcher 3 is not the only game I have this problem.

Is there somewhere else where I should seek for an answer? I would ofcourse update it here. I just don't know what it could be anymore. I have played with all resolutions in windowed mode and borderless mode but still the same thing very low FPS and GPU usage. I have tried launching the game...

Deleted the game and downloaded it again, installed and played still the same problem. :/ And this is from Steam.

Update: Noticed that when when I press ALT+F2 (activates ansel) my fps drops from 50 to 25. And doing ALT+F2 again it drops to 12fps. Have to restart game.

For now I have only seen this problem on Witcher 3, I verified game files (1 was missing, still not fixed). Taskmanager shows CPU usage at 0-15% and RAM usage is 24%. (idle) Checked nvidia control panel settings. I was messing around with the in game settings, even at the lowest resolution and...

I ran ccleaner and it deleted files for 2GB, I have changed my GPU's from GTX 970 SLI to GTX 1080. Between this i did a new windows install. http:// See the link ^, the funny thing is when I ALT+TAB to desktop my GPU goes to 73c and usage is 98%.

Still need help here, it can go even under 30fps inside buildings in villages....

Update: I noticed that my GPU usage drop to 35-45% when entering more populated areas, and in the open/forest areas my usage is about 65%. My GPU usage was 97% only when i was on my desktop looking GPU Tweak. And CPU usage is somewhere about 60%

I did a full system scan with Malwarebytes and nothing came up. CPU usage is idle at 5-6% and temps 33c-36c. GPU usage is idle at 0% and temps 54c and that is kinda weird? I searched this and it seems other people have a high idle temp also?
