Hey Boogieman_WD, Thx for answer so fast! I have evrything done what you said. But it is still not working. I have a second hd (just the same) and this works fine. this hd what not works on my laptop, is well working on a different pc. i find nothing in device manager but thats not the problem...

Is there sombody who can help me find the problem. I have a lacie porche design external hd. I used this for my school. yesterday he works fine and today he works not anymore. i have tried this on a different pc and there he working fine, i have a second hd (just the same) and he is working well...
