Nope, I tried that earlier when I didn't know the HDMI cable worked. So that won't work for me.

That didn't work since it doesn't show 2 monitors for me, only 1 and that's my only one.

I don't have another displayport cable, I changed ports and still the same thing, and yes when I manually switch to DisplayPort after a couple seconds it says "No Signal" and goes back to HDMI.

Yeah I updated both of them already. My displayport stopped working when I installed the drivers but not HDMI, which makes no sense and I have no clue how to fix it as of yet.

MERGED QUESTION Question from Kemeky : "How do I fix 100% disk usage spikes?" My disk usage spikes up to 100% randomly and when I have task manager open when it happens, none of the programs spike up either.

I have tried using the "Just bought a glorious Asus VG248QE Gaming Monitor" reddit thread, but color setting and especially the ICC profile, crushed my blacks and it made the colors look dull and dark. What are some better color settings?

I would much rather use a 1080p resolution instead of the usual 1200p resolution that is native to the monitor. Any way to force it without black bars or blurriness?

There is a weird flicker on the lower half/quarter of the screen. It seems to only happen when I'm on the desktop and it happens maybe once every 5-15 minutes. It does not have a set color and it seems to be random of what it looks like. Anyway to fix this? GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 Reference Card
