Started just today while browsing on the internet then a loud sound came from the inside. Didn't freeze, but it didn't go away so I held the power button to turn it off. Where did you plug your sounds? Motherboard? front panel? If it's on the front, try reseating your connectors to your motherboard. Something might have been moved/loose. Have you also installed the latest gpu driver? If you're using a soundcard, can you reinstall it?

Did you follow the settings they have? Try updating your graphic card drivers. I followed the video's system specs and got around the same fps. Sometimes higher. Driver version: 378.66 Edit: nvidia geforce is set to performance, not quality nor balanced.

Based on the number, seems your cpu is a bottleneck. Need to upgrade your processor

I am baffled as well which led me to think there is some kind of power saver running. Anyway, can you please check your BIOS and see the current multiplier of your cpu? Can you see if it's 45?
