@mbarnes86, I meant two pins on back of Xbox and not on the plug. Yes I am based in Uk. Okay I checked on back of Xbox and it says this: Rating: 100-240v 50/60hz, 1.8A I'm assuming that means (along with your calculations) that the 3amp power lead will be fine? Thanks

Thank you for your response. I thought that it was unsafe to go higher, that could blow the Xbox circuit board? But going lower would only fry the fuse in the cable and not damage the Xbox?

The included power lead in the box for Xbox one S was only like 1-2meter long, so I purchased a longer 3meter two pin lead here in UK. The new lead I saw says 3amp on the plug, however the old lead that came with the Xbox says 5amp. Is it okay to use the new 3amp lead with the Xbox or do I...

I solved this by having to redownload the latest install file for oculus software from the official website, and choosing repair installation. Seems to have fixed it.
