Hi,
I built a new pc just under a month ago and it has been fine until yesterday, i started to notice on games the GPU load would shoot up bringing the temprature up which then brought aload of noise as my fans tried to cope with this. I have not oc'ed it (as far as i am aware!) It is the Gigabyte xtreme gaming edition, i checked MSI Afterburner and Gigabytes software they offer and both seem to show my core clock and memory clock maxing out, on the afterburner the voltage limit goes from 0 to 1 and shows it flatlining as if it is maximum, on gigabytes software it seems more specific and again when i start a game it flatlines, specificly at 1063mv
As i said this was fine until the past couple days, it almost seems to be i have clicked some sort of overclock without realising and this is causing it to max out or something?
GPU - GTX1080 Xtreme Gaming
CPU - I7 6700k - Liquid cooled via NZXT Kraken X61
Motherboard - MSI XPOWER Titatnium Edition
RAM - Corsar vengence 32gb @ 3200mhz
