Never mind, I fixed my problem. I happened to find this guide http://blogs.technet.com/b/mediaq/archive/2015/07/30/windows_2d00_10_2d00_audio_2d00_troubleshooting_2d00_tips.aspx and disabling audio enhancements fixed it for me. Hope this helps anyone in the future looking through this post.
