[SOLVED] So I overclocked my 3200 mhz CL16 memory.

So after some testing today I wasn't able to get 3733mhz CL16 stable, not even 3700mhz. But 3600mhz CL16 seems stable. Is the 0.07 ns latency decrease worth the loss of bandwidth? Or should I stay at 3800 mhz CL17 (17,20,20,39,595) CR1?

[SOLVED] So I overclocked my 3200 mhz CL16 memory.

Hi, thanks for help. I will try today to get to 3733mhz CL16. Just have one question now. What about the command rate? Is it worth decreasing it to one for an additional +0.01 voltage bump?

[SOLVED] So I overclocked my 3200 mhz CL16 memory.

Hi, I own 16 GB of 3200 mhz CL16 (HyperX predator) and I managed to overclock it to 3800 mhz CL17 CommandRate 1 at 1,37 Volts (vccsa 1,2V, vccio 1,15V). Is it a good result? Also is there any benchmark where I can see the improvment? I now have +2FPS on average in some games. Thanks for answers...

[SOLVED] Recommendations for air cooling i9-9000k

I run i7 8086K oced on 5ghz 1.28V with this cooler. CPU temp in Prime 95 26.6 small ffts test is 80°C with 21°C ambient temperature. And my idle temps are 35 - 40 °C. So in my opinion this cooler will be enough for i9 9900K. But I think noctua nh-D15 would propably be better for you, but it is...

    Question Overclocking i9 9900k to 5ghz

I guess this you ran this test at stock with temps around 80°. What frequency and voltage was the cpu running at stock? And what voltage you need for 5ghz?

Maybe your cpu just isn't doing 5ghz at 1.35V if it bluescreened during cinebench.

    [SOLVED] I79700k cooling ?

Mid 60s are ok too. But I advise you to run some stress test (e.g. prime 95 26.6 - small ffts test) and monitor your temps, if your cpu thermal throttle in this test ( temps over 100°C) you should upgrade your cooler or undervolt your cpu a bit.

    Question Overclocking i9 9900k to 5ghz

Well TDP is thermal desing power but what i meant is maximum power consumption. When you overcklocked you cpu and ran stress test it needed more power than TDP to maintain stability, so it underclocked. I have the same MB as yoi have. In bios turn on advanced mode (F7) then go in overclocking...

    [SOLVED] I79700k cooling ?

Temperatures under 80 °C are fine. So with 60 °C your cooler is enough.

    Question Overclocking i9 9900k to 5ghz

You have to increase maximum TDP too. And I'm just bit confused because you said you have i9 and in specs you have i7.
