I knew, but wanted to confirm if Windows fan tuning vs BIOS fan tuning is any different.

A quick question: my asrock mainboard came with its own window-based fan tuning which I find handy, but I dont know if I have to left it open/stay in system tray (like NZXT CAM to control GRID+) or I can just press save then close the app for good? Thanks.

updated: bought a 6600k mildly OCed to 4200. Run silky smooth at everything ultra (save for AA, not needed at such res), never once dropped below 60. When vsync is off it shows 120+fps all time, but I prefer vsync to keep my card from overworking itself. TL;DR: despite what everybody says...

Thanks, it seems the gaming is a better choice. After a bit more research a new board come up: asrock z170 gaming k6+. A bit more pricey than the Gigabyte gaming, right at my budget limit, with a great feature set and there are flying reviews about it too. Whats do you think about it?

As the title says, only recently i noticed my CM case is full of holes/open sides, front and top panels with all these unused panels and fan mounts. If i ever want to improve cooling efficiency/air flow inside the case, should i block all of them open gaps with (transparent) ducktapes as well?

Yeah, its 2+6 but AFAIK there is no difference vs 8 pin. Just wanted to make sure if dual cable is better than single one, since this is the first time a manual specifically tells me to use 2 separate cables for a high wattage (250 and up) video card.
