Did you use AMD before Nvidia? It might be that some drivers were left over. Use DDU to uninstall them completly (both Nvidia and AMD if you have them) and then reinstall fresh Nvidia drivers

I don't think there is a way out of that one to be honest. But for all you know I just might be wrong and its not a motherboard issue, however it's a possibility

I think you won't need the splitter in that case, but try both variants

Try unplugging the headphones from the USB controller and using the splitter you got with them instead. Should work normally then
