Thanks for the wise advise. This is not a cooler question if you can read. Why would the cpu get full voltage for full performance while idle, which power plan is the best for both low load and performance.
I got Ryzen 5 3600 with stock cooler, MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX, 2 sticks of 8 GB 3000 Mhz RAM.
I don't want high temperatures during idle because I want my system to be silent while I'm working. On the other hand, I want to get the best performance while gaming therefore I don't know which power...
The case allows me to mount 240mm radiator on top. Only thing concerns me is the height of VRM heatsink and RAM sticks. While the radiator mounting points are closer to the glass rather than the motherboard, RAM height makes me think if the AIO will fit. Anyway, I think I have to try.
I have Cooler Master MB511 RGB, MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX and XPG Spectrix D41 (Height: 45.8mm).
I wonder if I can install Corsair H100i RGB Platinum on top. The manual says the case supports 240mm AIO on top but I don't know if the RAM will allow it.
PS: I don't want to install it in the front...
