You will have pretty bad bottlenecking in new games. FX 6300 is too slow if you want to have smooth 60 FPS. I wouldn't pair that CPU with anything faster than GTX 1050ti.

Witcher 3 is a very CPU intensive game especially when you're in a big city like Novigrad. I have i7 6700 + GTX 970 and I've seen 97% CPU usage in Novigrad so even modern i7 can barely maintain 60 FPS. Try reducing the number of background characters so there won't be so many NPC:s to calculate.
