Valve Talks More About Nvidia GPUs Inside Steam Machines

760 and possibly 770 I can understand, but the 660? That's absolutely terrible when compared to a price-comparable 7870 and with 7950s/270Xs dropping to around $200 they'll be curbstomped even further. The 760/770 will at least stay somewhat comparable to AMD cards.

Lenovo Launches Four New Windows 8 All-In-Ones

"AIO desktops have become the first-choice option for many consumers seeking a home PC with power and flexibility," said Jun Ouyang, vice president and general manager, desktop business unit, Lenovo Business Group. "Whether as a home entertainment center, a desktop for productivity or a gaming...

System Builder Marathon, Q3 2013: $1300 Enthusiast PC

This is a complete waste of money. You spend way more on the 4670K than you would on a 3570K, and a really expensive motherboard, then you pair it with a crappy CLC where even a 212 Evo or Respire T40 would do better. You then WAY overpay on the graphics card when a 7970 offers exactly the same...

First Weekend iPhone Sales Top Nine Million

The only reason they "ran out of stock" (considering they've had sprees like this at every iPhone launch) was because they created an artificial demand to make people want the new iPhone more. If they had enough stock it wouldn't be as "magical" when you finally got one. Apple logic.

Images, Benchmarks and Specifications of AMD's R9-290X Surface

If the Rx signifies generation, and the whole reason for going to a new naming scheme was because they're running out of generations with the current naming scheme, why did they start on 9? This makes absolutely no sense.

System Builder Marathon, Q3 2013: $650 Gaming PC

I'm really confused why you used the reference cooler on the 760 when there are multiple better cooling designs available such as EVGA ACX, Asus DirectCUII, etc. for around the same price. Modern cases with an adequate amount of ventilation can easily deal with the waste heat and the cooling...

New Build - Please help with GPU

Wouldn't really recommend overclocking Haswell on a stock cooler and you can probably get cheaper memory. It really depends on cost and what programs you're using. If you're using CUDA based programs Nvidia is the obvious choice.

    New Graphics Card Requirements

No it's not. Your own personal "experience" with a much weaker card has little correlation with his planned upgrade.

    New Graphics Card Requirements

Your processor would bottleneck that 7950.

    ~1200 Build improvements

I'm sick of people saying Ivy Bridge is outdated. Haswell is a very small improvement on IPC and Ivy Bridge overclocks way better, especially on lower end coolers.

Report: AMD Updates 2014-2015 Product Roadmap

Or they could just extend the Athlon line to include tri- and quad-module Steamroller chips while retiring the FX brand. Not everyone wants an iGPU.

Digital Storm Intros HydroLux Desktop Cooling Solution

Quick question: The article says that this is "aimed at enthusiasts who want the look and performance of liquid cooling, but don't have the know-how to install a system on their own." It then goes on to say "now made available exclusively on all Digital Storm desktops." So isn't this just a...

No news on either SR FX processors or a successor?

Lenovo Signs Deal That Adds Start Menu to Windows 8

While I do appreciate Lenovo's response to customer feedback on W8, this "start menu" should be replaced with Start8 or StartIsBack as both of those would be more familiar to W7 consumers.
