This is a bit tricky situation .iam hoping to buy ddr 4 G skill 2400mhz ripjaws 8Gb kit. My motherboard supports up to 2400mhz but my i3 6100 only supports up to 2133mhz .so my 2400mhz Ram will work on 2133 or 2400 ? Thanks for all the answers guys

Hi, I have a i3 6100 3.7ghz CPU which only supports up to 2133mhz Ram.But in my area it’s hard to find these base ddr4 model since everyone’s going for high speeds.so and my cpu is not overclocable.my only choice is to get a 2400mhz ram. WILL IT WORK. Thanks for answers guys
