Installed new GPU, rear USB ports no longer work until AFTER Windows logo

@SR-71 Blackbird it's only really a bottleneck if you play at 1080p. There are many videos showing the CPU does not matter as much at 1440p and over.

    Windows 10 UI issue

I missed the 27" part in your original comment. There is your answer! 1080p at 27" will look large as you say, scaling is unusual for large low res monitors. If you were to get a 1440p 27" monitor then it would scale a lot better. Either way, it's nothing to worry about! As long as your scaling...

    Windows 10 UI issue

Hello harroldeenioofficial, I don't see much difference between the two examples you gave but if I am understanding you correctly then you will want to change your "size of text, apps and other items". To do this, right-click your Desktop and select "Display settings". Now scroll to where it...

Run games at 21:9 aspect ratio on a 16:9 Monitor (TV)

That will work for games that have an INI to edit. Some games you won't have that option, sadly :( Good luck nonetheless! :) Leemon

Run games at 21:9 aspect ratio on a 16:9 Monitor (TV)

No problem. If the screen went black there's a good chance you won't be able to set that resolution. Monitors are a lot easier to set custom resolutions for than TVs. Don't forget to pick a solution! Thanks, Leemon

Run games at 21:9 aspect ratio on a 16:9 Monitor (TV)

Hi TuanTuan, You can set a custom resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Right-click on your desktop and select "NVIDIA Control Panel" then click on "Change resolution" on the left. Click the "Customise" button and then "Create Custom Resolution". Enter 3840 in the "Horizontal pixels" box and...

    144hz non-freesync vs 75 hz freesync

Hi Tai_5, You'd be better off getting the 75Hz FreeSync monitor over the 144Hz non-FreeSync. This is because the RX580 won't be able to reach 144fps in the majority of games which will cause issues such as screen tearing. Seeing as your card will be hovering around the 80fps mark at max...

    HP 22es - backlight problem

Hi Peter, That is quite severe backlight bleed but it is a common issue. You could try exchanging it for a new one and seeing if the new one is any better. At the end of the day, it all comes down to whether you think it would effect you. You're not going to be looking at a black screen all...

    Internet flatlines in games

Hi Relist, Sorry for not getting back to you, I've not had the time to get on here. I'm glad you've managed to find a solution to your problem and I thank you for taking the time to post it on here for other people that may come across this issue. I also thank you for picking my reply as the...

    Internet flatlines in games

Hi Relist, It sounds to me like your firewall is blocking these two games. Try allowing them through your firewall and see if that fixes your issue. Thanks, Leemon

    SLI + Ultrawide Monitor

Hi alexisvx, A single card will always be a smoother experience over multiple cards. I'd definitely recommend a single 1070 over 970s in SLI. Also, because the monitor has a high resolution of 3440x1440 it means you'll reach the 3.5GB VRAM limit of your 970 which will cause stuttering and other...

Need to find right monitor for my PC

Hi Jkem18, With a 1060 you'd be better off getting a 144Hz, 1080p monitor. You will struggle to reach 144fps, 1440p with a 1060. What size monitor are you looking for? Leemon

Monitor Turning off / on fast

Hi artraitor, So you have a 1060 but you're using your on-board graphics? Are you aware that if you have it plugged into your motherboard your 1060 isn't being used at all? If you are unable to connect your monitor to your 1060 then either buy an adaptor or buy a new monitor. Leemon
