I've bought plenty of stuff on Novatech before, they don't have the best prices, or selection, but they're convenient and tend to have decent customer service. They do a finance option, through a company called "afforditNOW". I was wondering if anyone has used this before? I only plan to spread...
I just got an MSI GTX 970, and after hours of frustration trying to get it to work, I finally have output. I haven't changed any settings though, simply installed drivers and plugged it in. Do I need to somehow disable the integrated graphics on my 4460, or does it not matter?
Thanks!
Thanks for the replies, this one might sound silly because it probably is; are DVD Rewriters okay? Like if they turn out to be faulty could they damage the system at all? I don't desperately need them but if it's going spare I guess I may as well keep it.
So I got given this old Dell PC that's clearly seen better days, I'm gutting it for parts before I chuck it, but I was wondering, is there any danger is taking things like the disk drive and card readers and putting them in my shiny new system? I'm assuming the answer is no but I'm not...
So if I put my freshly bought HDD in someone else's PC for them to install windows, could I then take that HDD home put it in PC and it work as my boot drive? Or can you run into compatibility issues or something?

And I know I need a better panel and when I have money I'll get one. My monitor only has HMDI, I don't know what that monitor takes. I guess it might be VGA, so would I need a HDMI to VGA cable...
Thanks for the advice all, I'm thinking I might go for the EVGA 650W GQ, it seems to be well rated, and 650W is far more than I'm gonna need for quite a long time (If ever).
And it's okay kyzarvs, I'm used to doing the conversion by now :^) it's just a shame that in the UK our prices are so...
I'm seeing people say that if I get a CX series PSU I absolutely will ruin my components and set my whole village on fire. I get the feeling it's an exaggeration, and my budget for a PC build is sub £400, am I alright with a budget friendly PSU, or should I bite the bit and get a SuperNova or...
No, Skylake doesn't officially support DDR3, while you can get some motheboards that support both, you may do the CPU some harm in the long run, so it's at your own risk really.
