TestDisk was not able to restore the RAID configuration so I used Reclaime to salvage what I can. Thanks again for the pointers. I have also learned my lesson this time regarding backups and started to use cloud storage and local backups.

I have a APEVIA ATX-CW500WP4 500W and a COOLER MASTER eXtreme RP-500-PCAR power supply. I just brought a GTX 960 SSC, and it needs a 8-pin. Should I use a 2 molex -> 6-pin, 2 6-pin -> 8 pin setup with 2 adapters? Or is that too risky and I should just buy a new PSU. thanks
