    My modem is upstairs and my PC is downtstairs...I can plug my PC into a router via Ethernet to access the internet from my modem correct? And my router just picks up the wifi from the modem?

    I got everything hooked in and it's all turning on and running but my monitor still says No Signal. My motherboard supports both HDMI and DVI-D. I've tried both and still nothing. I unplugged my graphics card and tried again and still nothing. This is making me crazy! What am I missing/doing...
