First Build Troubles

I got everything hooked in and it's all turning on and running but my monitor still says No Signal. My motherboard supports both HDMI and DVI-D. I've tried both and still nothing. I unplugged my graphics card and tried again and still nothing. This is making me crazy! What am I missing/doing wrong???

Most probably the board needs a BIOS update for supporting the Kaby. With that board you can order a BIOS chip on ebay and replace the board's one. Or, AsRock might send you one if contacted, or a local pc repair shop might help.

Would it be wise to just purchase a Z270 at this point?

Yes, it's an option if you can return the Z170 one.
