Acer x3995 motherboard

I got an acer x3995 old motherboard and i decided to buy a gtx 960 but theres something is bothering me out which is a repairman told me that a gtx 1050ti doesnt work when he put it in. So will 900 series work?cuz currently i have a gtx 760

So i have an acer x3995 motherboard which is pretty old now and im trying to upgrade my gpu but scared to do so due to possible issues might occur. Currently i have a gtx 760 and 400 psu and i3 2120. Im thinking which one has the best chance would work, gtx 960 or rx 570.

since I hold a mouse in claw grip, will i have a problem still?

um did they change it? i've heard people saying it has am010 sensor
