Thanks everyone. You were right. I swapped in a new mobo, and it's back to life.

I can read CPU phase and DDR phase next to the blue LEDs at the top right of the board. There used to be a red LED that would light up on the bottom of the board. It and the LED code readout on the bottom don't light up anymore.

The CPU was over clocked, but it was a moderate OC, nothing crazy. Why would the motherboard just die all of a sudden?

I have an old PC that I was trying to add some more RAM to. Cpu is AMD phenom ii 840. MSI motherboard. I installed the new ram and it wouldn't boot. Took it out, booted up like normal. So, to see if I had bad ram, I took the old ram out and put the new in. FF error, no post. So I took the new...

Also, when I uninstall the drivers, the problem goes away. But, as soon as I reboot, and the drivers reinstall, or I install new drivers from the NVIDIA website, the problem returns. Now I kind of wonder if it has something to do with the M.2 drive at all.

I checked the pins out very thoroughly and from what you could see,they looked good. So, I put everything back together,and still no luck. Guess I'm going to have to call MSI tomorrow. Thanks for all of your help.

OK. So, I reset CMOS, I disconnected the hard drives, booted it up, and same story. Nothing on the monitors and the motherboard LED is still giving me the 62 error code. And I'm still not getting the keyboard to light up. Mouse lights up when plugged in, but not the keyboard. I've checked...

I put everything back together. I didn't realize the thing about Windows. So, I should pull the SSD, put it in my old computer, format the drive, reset CMOS, reinstall the formatted drive, then cross my fingers?
