Will the system boot without the HDD? It's the only HDD currently on the system, it's running windows 10 and yes, the OS is installed there. It works fine whenever i reinstall the old processor. I will try installing another PSU when i get the chance and see if it solves the problem

I don't mean to be rude, but are you sure? I already tried putting a Core 2 Quad Q8400 and it didn't work, my PC didn't even boot... What am I doing wrong? My BIOS has a 2008 date, could that be the reason? Or was it the processor that was broken-not functioning?
