    Question 24 inch vs 27 inch. 1080p or 1440p ?

Thank you that is exactly what I was looking for. I was going around in circles with ppi and size vs resolution. You have explained it really well. 24 inch 1080 with sone sampling I think. The Pc will be i7 12 700 with 32 gb Ram and an RX 6600. I think that should allow for some sampling at...

    Question 24 inch vs 27 inch. 1080p or 1440p ?

I have read through some posts that kind of mention what I am asking but nothing that covers it exactly I am upgrading from a benq 21.5 1080p monitor. 27 inch 1440p looks to be the obvious upgrade, however I worry that this will result in smaller native onscreen icons which won't get me any...

Question What's the best online site for customisation of a build in the UK.

Thank you for your reply. I didn't go into details as its the shops rather than the parts I wanted suggestions for. Pretty sure its going to be an i3 12 100F paired with an RX 6600 and 16GB Ram. Very casual gaming World of Warships for one not exactly taxing on a system. I just wanted the best...

[SOLVED] Another HDD to SSD cloning question.

Maybe I was little unclear with my initial post, Your second option is basically what I was asking if I could do. Just didn't know if there were any hidden issues I needed to know about. The fact that its never going to run W11 is why I'm looking at doing this. A whole new system is well...

[SOLVED] Another HDD to SSD cloning question.

Hello , Thanks for replying. The system is a Phenom X2 555 with 8GB Ram. I have dual booted it with W10 before so I have no doubts as to its ability to run W10 if that was a concern you had. The drive now is a 1TB SATA Hard Drive. Mactronix :)

[SOLVED] Another HDD to SSD cloning question.

Hello people, I have an old, and I mean old as in first day or release W7 system, with the launch of W11 coming soon I was considering finally doing the upgrade to W10. What I plan to do is as follows. Buy a new 1 TB SSD and use a cloning docking station to copy my existing 1TB HDD. Put...

[SOLVED] Huawei band 4 pro compatibility question.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any experience using a wearable smart watch or fitness band to get notifications from a ring doorbell ? As you may have guessed from my title I am looking at getting a simple tracker in the form of the huawei Band 4 Pro, it states that it will show...

[SOLVED] Build advice for World of Warships.

Hello, Very old hand here asking for advice as I have been out of the PC building game now for well over a decade. Basically I am looking to build a PC that will realistically not be asked to do more that make World of Warships look as pretty as possible. My monitor is 1080p however I would...

POLL: What should be the reference noise level at which graphics cards should be tested?

Personally I think trying to bench cards at a set dB level is just as flawed and full of variables as you are saying using a set temperature is while being far less relevant or useful as part of a review. Different coolers and fan bios settings on different brands of cards will give you just the...
