Only power connected an it still pops out during system boot. :-/

I measured the drive belt at 3.5cm and tried the boiling water trick before ordering one. Unfortunately, it did not work. Drive still pops out. Not sure if a new drive belt will make a difference . . . But thank you for the suggestion!

I have an LG Blu Ray player that I installed and used several times. Generally, I was ripping discs to my hard drive for a digital copy. Then one day after ripping a disc the drive refused to close. Ever since, it will not accept any kind of disc. In fact, the drive tray will not stay closed...
