Probably always going to be able to game at 1080p on a 780ti. 1080 won't be the standard for that much longer though.

Yeah it's not like the card is going to be useless a year from now. You'll just probably find that high demanding games sometime next year will not be able to be maxed out anymore.

If all you game at is 1080p on a single monitor. It should last you at least 8 months to a year before you really start feeling like you can't max out games anymore.

Forget upgrading your graphics card... you should be prioritizing getting 64 bit windows first. For peet's sake you can buy 64 bit windows 7 home for 80 bucks.
