i am playing on 1920×1080, i can play on 4k but only get about 40fps on my 4k tv playing at ultra, so there is no need to upgrade and even if i do i would probably need another gpu to feel the full power of 4k gaming in ultra settings, or will the upgrade help, and yes ill have to upgrade my ram...

Is there a big difference between my Msi H97 Gaming 3 and the Msi Z97? And if I bought a Msi Z270 motherboard what is the diffidence between the two?
