had this problem it made me lose pins on my cpu when I tried to install liqued cooler it pulled of my cpu.\ (had the problem used bad thermal paste get some new stuff)

oh god I hope they didn't use thermal paste to glue on the CPU. if you don't have experience in building or fixing pcs I recommend you see an expert when it comes to CPU's but we need a photo to help you cause i cant see

looks fine to me... could just be a manufacturing thing or it might of just seen the sun on that side if it was boxed and you couldn't see anything that might show it had been opened. if you think somthings wrong ask who you bought it from about it. hopefully they will be happy to help if you...
