Question PC boots up, and then immediately shuts down - have replaced PSU and no change.

I managed to get it into safe mode and ran SFC. It has returned that it cannot find any integrity violations. Not sure what to do next?

Question PC boots up, and then immediately shuts down - have replaced PSU and no change.

Struggling to get it into safe or recovery mode as it boots, then after loading for a bit, says shutting down (normal windows appearance as if I had done it myself through windows) and then shuts down, before I can really do anything.

Question PC boots up, and then immediately shuts down - have replaced PSU and no change.

It did start happening the day after I forced a shutdown using the power button (pure laziness if I remember right) so maybe that has messed it up? Any tips on how I would diagnose this/solve it?

Question PC boots up, and then immediately shuts down - have replaced PSU and no change.

I have a HP Elite 8300 CMT with i7-3770, 32GB RAM, a 1050ti, 500GB HDD and 1TB HDD (320W HP PSU). Was all working fine and made no recent hardware changes when suddenly would not boot up properly (turn on for a few seconds and then before screen had time to turn on would boot down, then try and...

Question How do I know if I have enough power in my psu for GTX 1050ti? HP Elite 8300 computer upgrade

Gone with: GV-N105TOC-4GD Its the Gigabyte OC GTX 1050ti. No extra 6 pin connector, dual fans, I think semi-passive cooling (fans slow down- don't think they turn fully off- if not under load). Thanks for everyone's contributions on this thread.

One last thing: is every 1050ti max power consumption the same and if so which one should I get?

Question How do I know if I have enough power in my psu for GTX 1050ti? HP Elite 8300 computer upgrade

I'll definitely bear that in mind for the future. For now tho im gonna stick with it. I exceed the minimum wattage given by nvidia and those minimums are usually overestimated anyway with people running 1050ti on 240w okay. This is gonna be such a nice cheap pc build. I managed to get the pc for...

Question How do I know if I have enough power in my psu for GTX 1050ti? HP Elite 8300 computer upgrade

I found this on another thread: http://shop.itema-pg.com/userfiles/editor/file/hp8200sff.pdf on page 21 it says max wattage for pcie is 75w (for the cmt form factor which is mine) so all good i think.

Question How do I know if I have enough power in my psu for GTX 1050ti? HP Elite 8300 computer upgrade

I'm gonna stick with the 320w. Final thing: how do I know if my pcie connectors are compatible with the card and are 75w. Some posters suggested they could be 25w? My PC is the large tower version not the small form factor.

Question How do I know if I have enough power in my psu for GTX 1050ti? HP Elite 8300 computer upgrade

Is there a way I can find out if this is the case. I have no reason to believe it is anything but the standard. I think i need the 75w tho for the 1050ti.

Question How do I know if I have enough power in my psu for GTX 1050ti? HP Elite 8300 computer upgrade

So just to clarify, If I was to just keep the psu(it might be really difficult to upgrade because of HPs power connectors) and I went with a 1050ti, it would be okay, but in the future I would need to upgrade if I changed graphics card?
