    I5 6600k and H170

Thanks for all the quick answers lads! Really appreciate all the quick responses. I was going to go for the Hyper Evo 212 but it just doesn't fit by 1mm in her mid tower and can't slide the side panel on but the T4 seems to be holding pretty steady. Thanks!

    I5 6600k and H170

Hello all. I am fairly new when it comes to Intel builds. I recently just built my fiance a computer for gaming and have a question about two specific parts already up and running in her computer. Specs: MOBO: ASUS H170 Pro Gaming CPU: i5 6600k GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 16gb DDR4 250 850 Evo. Now I...

    Question about AMD Turbo Core

So after downloading the latest 990fx chipsets and the newest graphics drivers i did the same boss 3 times with 40+ people with TURBO ON and never ran into the same issue. Frame's were good at that load. Never dipped below 35. Cheers!

    Question about AMD Turbo Core

I guess that could be an issue lol. Thanks for the help by the way. I don't plan on overclocking seeing as how 4.0ghz is more than enough for the games i play. I was just wondering why i was seeing an issue with turbo boost enabled.

    Question about AMD Turbo Core

Ok so it looks like i only downloaded the GPU drivers and never installed the chipset drivers. GPU I downloaded: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%208.1%20-%2064 Looks like i should download the 9 series chipset drivers too...

    Question about AMD Turbo Core

Well i would imagine world of Warcraft would only be using 2-3? But even then why am i hitting 4 fps with it enabled and not disabled. Weird. I also did not install the AMD Chipset drivers from the CD given by the gigabyte mobo, i downloaded the latest gpu drivers from amd which looks to have...

    Question about AMD Turbo Core

I keep hearing people say that. I hear Turbo Core causes more trouble in games than anything and to leave it disabled. Is this true?

Normal Frame Rate range for World Of Warcraft

Any ideas? In starting to feel like it's more of the game than my setup

Normal Frame Rate range for World Of Warcraft

I appreciate your help. Let me just start off by saying that. 7ms makes sense, but I'm not going to go spend another 150 when I have a pretty good working monitor. As for the cpu bottle necking my GPU. This actually is not the case. I have an amd monitor tool that monitors both cpu and GPU...

Normal Frame Rate range for World Of Warcraft

Yes I know vsync will cap frame rates to the monitors refresh rate. Buying a new monitor wouldn't solve anything considering it is a Dell S2240 21 inch 1080p only 2 months old. Screen tearing occurs when you are producing a higher frame rate above what your monitor is capable of displaying at...

Normal Frame Rate range for World Of Warcraft

I know there is probably a few threads out there with this title, but my situation might seem alittle different. I was wondering if this was a "normal" frame rate range for World Of Warcraft. I currently play with some settings on fair and others on high with Vsync/triple buffering enabled (due...
