Defective Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme

Last July I upgraded from the Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming graphics card to a Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme. The 1080 Ti ran all of my games extremely well at first but occasionally my games would crash or freeze. I wasn't too worried about the crashes/freezes since they weren't super frequent...

Battlefield 1 - Help with my build!

A GTX 970 will run Battlefield 1 at High/Ultra settings at 1080p/60fps. You would only need to upgrade your PC for Battlefield 1 if you wanted to play at a higher resolution such as 1440p. In that case the RAM would need to be upgraded to 16GB and the GPU would probably need to be at least a GTX...

None of my steam games work?

I've had certain problems in the past with Steam games not working for me. It can be a real pain to get them working sometimes. The best way I know of how to get a game running is to do a PC reset. I know you tried already once, but I would suggest doing another reset but this time wiping...

Gears of War 4 has the highest system requirements now but the game hasn't been released yet and the requirements may change before it comes out.

Low Frame Rate On The Witcher 3 (GTX 980 Ti)

Yeah, my brother was using a single GTX 980 Ti not two way SLI. He no longer has performance problems with the Witcher 3 anymore.

    Steam Download Taking Forever

No problem, it's odd that Steam downloads are so slow for you. It's possible that there is a Steam bandwith limit set. Open Steam, go to Settings, open up the Downloads section and there is an area where you can limit download speeds. Make sure it's set to No Limits.

    Steam Download Taking Forever

Is your Network usage always around 500 KB/s? If it is it will take a very long time to download 44 GB worth of data. The best advice I can give you is to make sure there aren't any other programs using your network data in the background. Other than that you'll just have to be patient and wait...

    Quantum Break PC Performance Issues

It is a mess for a lot of people which is evidently clear if you read the reviews on the Windows Store. It has 86 1 Star reviews but on the other hand it has 103 five star reviews. The safe bet in this case is to not buy the game. However, if you think you'll be one of the lucky one to get...

    Quantum Break PC Performance Issues

I'm not sure about the RAM and CPU usage, I wasn't monitoring either of them. However if you have a mid to high range AMD GPU I would say go ahead buy it but if you're running a Nvidia card stay far far away from Quantum Break until there's been an immense amount of patching. Also, you may run...

    Quantum Break PC Performance Issues

Oh, I'd read some reviews on Quantum Break on the Windows Store and some people there were complaining about too much stuttering but I wasn't sure if it was a widespread issue or not. I did read an article though about how the frames don't sync properly with the refresh of a monitor. They said...

    Quantum Break PC Performance Issues

I recently bought Quantum Break for PC. The performance has been really bad for me but my rig should be able to handle it fine. The frame isn't too bad especially for a game that has just launched for the Widnows Store but there's a massive of amount of stuttering which makes it very difficult...

Okay, thank you. I'm not sure if that'll fix the issue either but your answer will help speed up the process of finding a solution. Thanks again.

Defragmenting Two Hard Drives at the same Time?

I'm having an issue downloading a game from the Windows Store. It's my belief that something is wrong with the cache files for the download so every time I try to download the game I inevitably get an error code and am forced to restart the download. If this were a Steam game I could simply...
