[SOLVED] 10th Gen, WHAT IS IT?

So I'm creating a website, [removed], that will have a complete list of CPUs from both AMD and Intel. Now this project is still VERY earlier in it's developmental lifecycle and most likely will not be finished for quite some time. Now my question is; which one is 10th gen, Cascade Lake or Comet...

    [SOLVED] Low frequency 9400f

I was able to buy one for 50 dollars on facebook marketplace so I figured it was worth the buy. Both my single core and multicore score are incredibly low (750 and 149). The single core test utilizes core 2. Power plan is set to high performance. Turbo boost is enabled along with all other boost...

    [SOLVED] Low frequency 9400f

So i just purchased a 9400f, b365m motherboard, and 16gb of ddr4. My max score on cinebench so far is around 750 with all cores boosting to 3.4ghz. The advertised single core speed is 4.1 but none of my cores are doing that, according to hardware monitor. I fiddled around in the bios as much as...

    [SOLVED] Is my cpu underperforming?

I plan on buying a DX79TO intel board to overclock this cpu which the 1670 cannot be. I've just had a hard time finding stock scores on this thing. Plus I do not use more than 6 cores at all so the loss in cores does not matter to me.

    [SOLVED] Is my cpu underperforming?

Hello! Recently, I switched out my e5 2670 for an e5 1650 for the higher clock speeds. However, the cinebench scores seem to be lower than what I anticipated. After three runs I am averaging 858 on multicore and 117 on singlecore. Is this lower than normal? P.S. running at stock speeds and...

[SOLVED] PNY 1070 ti broken fan

Currently, I have a PNY 1070 ti with a singular broken fan. The card heats up and shoots to 100% fairly quickly so I was looking at 3rd party coolers. Is there anyway I can source the exact same fan for my cooler online? Or should I look into one of the arctic/Morpheus coolers? All input would...

    [SOLVED] E5-1650 v2 vs E5-4627 v2

Whats your guess on the gaming performance between the 1650 v2 and the 4627 v2? (keep in mind I have a 1070ti which is out of their league already, and I'm unable to overclock on z420)

    [SOLVED] E5-1650 v2 vs E5-4627 v2

Coming from a 2670, which one of these would be the best for gaming with a lot of backgrounds processes and applications? I generally did not want to step down in core count but the frequency kinda seems worth it. However, the 4627 still has a much better base and boost speed over my 2670. Any...

    [SOLVED] 1650 v2 a worthy upgrade from a 2670?

Well I already own the motherboard and ram. The 2670 does like 75% of what I want so I thought the boost in IPC and frequency would close the gap more.

    [SOLVED] 1650 v2 a worthy upgrade from a 2670?

I currently own an e5 2670 and have been noticing a bottleneck with my 1070 ti due to its low frequency. I was looking at a 1650 v2 which has two less cores but a significantly higher base and boost clock. Would this be the best xeon for gaming on 2011? My budget is around 150.

    Question E5-2689 vs E5 1650 v2

Greetings! I currently own an e5 2670 with 64 gb of ecc 1333mhz in quad channel. I want a little more punch for gaming but I cant decide between the 1650 v2 and the 2689. Which would offer better gaming performance? I am barely bottlenecked by the 2670 in most circumstances but in cpu heavy...

Question Is this an efficient build?

You are limiting yourself quite a bit when ignoring Ryzen. It is undoubtably the king of work especially when comparing the 9900k and the 3900x. The 9900k may be slightly faster for gaming now, but in the future, the 3900k is expected to be much faster. 12 cores vs 8 cores for around the same...

Question is my current system still good for 1080p gaming?

You could always upgrade to an i7 4790k, that would give you a few more threads for streaming and playing newer games. You probably want to upgrade that gpu to something like a 1070 or 1070 ti. Those go for quite cheap on ebay (around 200 for a 1070 and 280 for a 1070 ti).
  14. Matthughes576

    What to upgrade

I have the budget for either a 3930k+mobo+r9 fury or an i7 3770+1070. They cost within 20 or so dollars of each other and I currently have a 144hz monitor so which would get me the higher frames? I play most of my games at the lowest settings because look do not matter much aside from...
