turns out my cooler was actually mounted incorrectly i fixed it and now im running at 50-70 degrees while running AAA titles at good framerates

yea i see so i probably just need a new cooler not a new processor unless its not mounted right as he suggested

yea my cpu is probably thermal throttling... its running at 95-100 degrees when playing re:village at some pretty high settings

i dont know how to update my bios and idk what an inf driver is but ill consider swapping my ssd my gpu is factory overclocked so i dont think i can do much more about that im not exactly sure about how i should test the cpu

i dont use anything to monitor the temps and im not exactly sure what cooler it is i just know its a decently sized air cooler from be quiet

some games that rely less on the gpu run worse and i cant have google chrome running in the background without it causing lag in a lot of cases for example csgo is running at 150-200fps or something while ive had resident evil 7 at max settings running at 240fps

this could be because youre using your mouse with 1000hz polling rate. im not sure why this lags some computers but it happens to me too. in osu when i play at 1000hz i get massive fps drops when moving the mouse but when i use 500hz its all fixed.

so i have a mouse capable of 1000hz polling rate but when i use it at 1000hz my framerate is at like half of what it should be valorant(500hz): 270fps valorant(1000hz): 130fps is there any way to fix this cuz i want to be able to use my mouse with 1000hz polling rate and not lag
