Is it worth going from a 27 inch 1080p 60 hz monitor to a 25 inch 1440p monitor for gaming?? 27 inches 1440p monitors are beyond my budget

Guys..i am currently running a 1080p 27 inch monitor...games look fabulous..especially when i use DSR ..i have a 980 so i can use the downsampling of DSR...will i see any improvement if i buy a 1440p monitor?? I know texts will look better...but what about games....does 1440p native look...

Guys how much system memory do i need to run games at 1440p? i currently own a gtx 980 and 8 gb of ram....system information shows that only 6.9 gbs of those 8 gbs is usable...should that be enough??

Guys can anyone help me to understand this resolution scaling in BF4?? With 145% resolution scaled @ 1080p and 4x AA m getting around 60 fps on a 980..is that good? Because i am seeing that other people are getting about 70 fps avg ...on 1440p native with 100% resolution scale and 4x AA....so...
