I uninstalled Realtek High Definition Audio and now the audio doesn't turn itself down anymore. I wonder why. But thanks for the help anyways. So now it's using the windows default audio driver.

I tried reapplying thermal paste and borrowed my brother's cooler for a while but the problem still persists.

I already tried it on different hard drives.

I actually tried other headphones and it doesnt work.

I plugged it in all the way in. I even tried both front and back audio jacks UPDATE: I am using the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard that has that audio boost thing. I don't know if that has anything to do with this problem.

I didn't turn on my computer for about a week and today when I logged on, the audio was so low and there's a static/buzzing sound when you play an audio. I've tried reinstalling the audio drivers and looked it up on google but got nothing. Anyone got any ideas?.
