My brother had this same issue just now. Can you try: Privacy settings > microphone > Allow apps to access your microphone ON That fixed it for him at least.

Is your BIOS up to date? I had a similar issue with an MSI mobo too, and updating the BIOS fixed it. Also, you didn't list your PSU.

Run a program like HWInfo and find out what is overheating first. Also check for any overclocking software like Afterburner/Precision.

Highly likely it's the PSU. The FSP Aurum already had poor 12v and 3.3v rail regulation to begin with, thus falling out of spec under load.

Neither are future proof. I'd get the 1060 3GB if I had to pick between these two GPUs. There will be times where you need to lower some settings though. You need to go higher if you care about future proofing.

ACBEL are poor quality, so I wouldn't recommend trying. I suggest getting a good branded PSU before you upgrade your GPU.

What are your CPU temps? Also check task manager and see if there's some process eating CPU usage.
