Question GPU fans turning on and off repeatedly, no display output, but Windows is detecting the GPU?

Yes, the RX 570 is my friend's GPU. The same problem occurs in my own working system. The card, even on a fresh boot after sitting overnight, will not display an output. My friend claims that originally the problem could be fixed by a restart, but now it just does not function at all. I do...

Question GPU fans turning on and off repeatedly, no display output, but Windows is detecting the GPU?

Friend's GPU will not display an output, but when inserted into my system with my working graphics card, Windows detects the GPU as functional or having a problem. All of my components are working as intended. It is an RX 570 from a prebuilt desktop.

[SOLVED] Which CPU should I get, the Ryzen 7 2700 or the 2700x?

Get the 2700X. I bought this CPU recently and it has worked fine. It is not worth paying only around 20 dollars less for a lesser performing processor, so just go for the best. Also, the Wraith Prism cooler (comes with the 2700X only for 2000 series processors) is a very powerful cooler, and...

Question Changed Cmos Battery Now My Pc Is Buggered

Is your keyboard a USB keyboard? I had a really old motherboard with an old BIOS and it would not detect USB devices until the USB controller started, meaning I could not enter the BIOS. If your motherboard has a PS/2 connector (considering its age it probably will), you could buy a cheap PS/2...

    Question Overheating issues

Make sure your pump is actually running (listen to it) and take a can of compressed air and blast your radiator if you haven't done that. Ensure nothing is blocking the airflow through your radiator and there are no kinks or anything in the tubing. I'm not extremely knowledgeable about...

    [SOLVED] New pc keeps crashing

Amazing that you didn't kill your CPU like that. Running without thermal paste is possibly one of the worst things you can do to a CPU, especially if you're using a stock cooler. Do not power on that computer until you get some thermal paste to apply to that processor.

Make sure Multicore Rendering is enabled in your video settings in game. I am not very knowledgeable on this subject, but I know that if you want peak performance then you should enable this setting.

[SOLVED] Am I at risk of undervolting/damaging components?

Thank you guys for all the information. I'm really not looking to buy a new PSU just yet so I am not entirely wanting to upgrade it. With this secondary GPU basically never reaching full power, and neither any component reaching max operating limits, I think I am going to keep running it with...

[SOLVED] Am I at risk of undervolting/damaging components?

I checked PSU before purchasing the CPU and main GPU. It can support these components no problem. Seeing as running both of these cards is (according to these calculators) going to draw 580 watts at max load, I am curious if underclocking this secondary GPU would be a safe way to keep it from...

[SOLVED] Am I at risk of undervolting/damaging components?

Some of these sources are saying it will use more wattage than my PSU can supply. However, this secondary GPU will almost never exceed 35% utilization at the same time as other devices are. My CPU is almost never above 30% usage. Is there a risk of me damaging components even with these parts...

[SOLVED] Am I at risk of undervolting/damaging components?

I just recently installed a very old graphics card that I had from years ago when I built my fist pc into my new pc to help run two extra monitors alongside my main one. So far it seems to be working well, but I am wondering if the gpu is possibly sucking too much power and undervolting or...
