I'm sure your ram speed at 2666mhz shouldn't cause too much of a problem, the problem is that you only have 1 stick of ram, namely 1x16GB, you could have gotten two 8GB sticks of ram to increase the performance dramatically, or of course you could add another 16GB stick for 32GB ram overall...

At the moment I'm running a FX 4300 at 3.9ghz and a r7 360 and I can record at 720p120 or 1080p60, recording is run off the CPU I believe so would a ryzen 1700 be able to record at 240fps with 1080p? Does the GPU affect the recording? BTW I'm talking about recording Minecraft

I already bought the Mobo found a deal which cut it from £120 to £70 new. I'm from England. My budget for my whole pc is around 700 excluding the graphics card. The PSU is Corsair VS650w not a 550w. Only recording, no streaming, thanks.
