Yes. But you can't exactly just "switch" out a BIOS chip, unless you are on some special motherboard...

Oh, and another thing to add: It randomly freezes at the BIOS. At the BIOS! There has to be something very wrong for it to freeze at this base level software. Last time I entered it it never crashed.

It may be your BIOS issue. Have you updated that? IF possible, ask you motherboard manufacturer for help, they have the required information
