I found AMD cards to be problematic (even though im taking a gamble to order the R9 390 from my GTX 680) - You are probably better ordering NVIDIA for now and replacing that card. Its a pain in the arse but yeah, if you can't find a solution you will have far less problems with NVIDIA.

No good confirmations but roadmap suggests early 2016 - If you can hold out till then you might be better served for your money. Up to you though :)

R9 390x3 is 825w so 375w remaining should be more than enough to cover everything else update: on a side note, why not wait for HBM 2 if ur willing to pull out the cash for R9 390X3

Just as an update, just ordered the R9 390 (MSI Twin Frozr version) as my upgrade. Pretty nice going from 2GB to 8GB of VRAM on my double 2560x1440 displays :) Thanks for all the help anyway.
