[SOLVED] PC going blackscreen, RAM issue?

If you know that you can boot with every separate stick and have 0 errors for every separate stick then this is a clear problem with the motherboard. Before buying a new one please check the slots on it: are they dusty? are they damaged? is there anything suspicious about them? If not, then...

[SOLVED] PC going blackscreen, RAM issue?

Ok, you know the cause now. Memtests with 10k+ errors basically always means your RAM is failing, getting new RAM should be a safe bet. But before you do that, 1st: if you are not using all of your motherboard slots then switch the slots, if you don't know what I mean then imagine this was...

[SOLVED] PC going blackscreen, RAM issue?

Did you actually experience the blackscreening again after you re-installed the RAM modules? I know of a friend that had similar issues, cleaned his sticks and it disappeared. You might have accidentally cleaned your sticks by reinstalling them. You need to provide logs and dumps of the crash...

[SOLVED] I'm having big issues with black screens of death that I'm unable to fix

Trying to DDU and rollback to a working version did not work, blackscreening continued. Temperatures do not seem to be related to the blackscreenings, they happen midgame or in the menus, also during normal desktop usage or high load programs. Update: Seems like the countless blackscreens and...

[SOLVED] How many case fans should I add and should they be 120 or 140mm?

Agree with Solidjake, depends how important airflow is for you, personally i'd slap 3 120mm in the front and one 120mm on the top as an exhaust. Should be enough airflow

    [SOLVED] Massive loop planning.

heavy overclocking, especially on 18 cores will require some type of vrm cooling. The thermal pad would come in if your mob didn't have a vrm heatsink so you make your own by sticking them on with a piece of copper or aluminum heatsink. I got it wrong, my mob actually has active vrm cooling so...

    [SOLVED] Massive loop planning.

oh no, i just realized, vrm temps could handicap cpu stablity/clock speeds so i'll probably have to buy sticky thermal pads and heatsinks to take care of that, and there are no monoblocks that i found for my motherboard (Rampage VI extreme omega). Oh and the block (Aqua computer cuplex kryos...

    [SOLVED] Massive loop planning.

Hmm, k. Well any little squeeze out to help me achieve the 5 ghz i want won't go unnoticed. Ah yes does actually putting rads on the fans handicap the airflow, never heard bout' that but if that is so it's probably a better idea to not put rads on them yes?, because my ram is not watercooled and...

Question Old psu for new pc

You are not really "stuck with it, if you sell it/ get a new one it's problem solved" but all that aside, it's a corsair 1000w psu, so it's of quality. If it wasn't used for a long time and no weird stuff done to it you should be a-ok. Oh and 75 for a working actual good 1000w psu is a steal. so...
