I am yet to put it under any load as i am awaiting my wireless network adapter. But will update tomorrow once i receive it and run a few tests. Or is there any other way to run under load without installing any other software other than BIOS

Solution fixed!

The cables are pre-routed into the actual case. The ends of the cables don't fit anywhere on the motherboard

Hello all! Currently in the works of building my own gaming pc, i have basically put everything inside the case which is an aeroCool Predator evil green edition and have successfully gained power (Yay!) Unfortunately, the case fans do not connect directly to the motherboard ( MSI Z97 Gaming 3)...

Total budget would be $1500 AUD for the build itself and another $200 for peripherals excluding a headset as i have already purchased a hyperx cloud 2 gaming headset which works quite well

I have the choice of any windows OS as i have access to windows 7-10. Haven't really put much though into the OS, but i figured i'd just go with 10 to feel more up to date :P

From what i've read online there is not a significant difference in performance between the 970 and the 960 hence why i opted for the lower costing model in order to save a bit of dosh to put towards other parts

When you say stock intel cooler are you referring to the cooler located inside the CPU itself?

Well i've mainly built it to run CSGO, maybe a few other relatively low demanding games preferably on high resolution to maximise the experience. I'm not planning on getting a 4k monitor or anything like that if that's what you're leaning towards Jhall

The case itself has 2 x 23cm fans on both the front and top panels of the case, would that be sufficient?
