So I flashed the VBIOS with the same version from techpowerup, on GPU-Z as soon as I flash it shows a Version - however when I reboot and check it displays unknown, additionally when i export this flashed rom - the size differs by a few hundred bytes compared to the one I just flashed, not sure...

You think I try VBIOS first then Reflowing THEN p ush comes to shove if its RAM, I'll see the prices but may not be worth the fix I assume, as I only got it for about £15 as a first try repair for a GPU :)

I know this is very late, and I don't quite remember how we fixed it, but I believe we disabled some hypervisor element that was used or some virtualization, I'll reply with more details but I believe the tool he used ( to spoof ) came out with a fix as it was a common issue for people using it :)

Managed to fix it - as the program he used to spoof came out with a fix :)

Also by spoofing I'm on about hardware identifiers :) not sure if this is the cause but its the last thing he did before it BSOD and now won't boot

Apparently so - Safe mode doesn't blue screen at all however clean boot with all third-party services disabled and auto-start apps disabled "yeah i went to msconfig and checked hide microsoft services then disabled all then went to startup and disabled them all" - quote from him :)

So he went through and disabled everything - and it still seems to bluescreen, is there a way I can provide logs for you with more info as you have little to work with :)

So making this thread for a friend but will relay ( as his account is locked for some reason ) Anyways, so yeah friend is currently having an issue where everytime he boots - it goes to boot, GIGABYTE Logo with the classic windows loading balls, then it goes to black then it cuts to a BSOD...

Yeah I had already tried that, turns out the cooler was broken, only got it a week ago haha, hoping to send it back, older fan worked but doesn't fit so that sucks, thanks anyhow :)

I recently built my PC however I've just noticed that the fan isn't actually spinning, and my CPU is sitting at 95 degrees which is NOT good lmao I've tried multiple fixes, changing from the CPU Fan header to a different one on my motherboard but no luck, the cooler is getting power as it has...

Turns out the cooler itself is not spinning, which I hadn't noticed before. I do not know the cause of this issue, It's all plugged in fine since it has it's lights on, and I've even tried a different fan slot on my motherboard but to no luck. The cooler is the Wraith Spire ( Stock Ryzen cooler )

Yeah it just peaked 95 whilst rendering a blender file on cycles CPU and sits at 90 ish on idle, was thinking a thermal paste issue, will do all this tomorrow since it's 12:45 AM.

Right checking my Idle temps, my CPU is at 84 Degrees which is 100% not normal and I have no clue why, you can control fan speed on BIOS & Ryzen master correct?
