I wouldn't know how to do that,what are the steps if i were to do that?

This is my first build , so i don't have any extra gpu or motherboard.

So i changed my refresh rate on the custom resolution settings in amd settings to a higher refresh rate, this then saved.. it seemed okay but then my monitor started to say out of range.. i left it there hoping it would revert back but it didn't, so i rebooted my pc and it booted like normal...
