@Colif Thank you so much for replying! I completely forgot you could copy files with cmd.
Unfortunately since I couldn't find any answers back then, I wiped it and reloaded windows. I did manage to decrypt the drives though, so no worries there.
I'll remember your answer for the future...
Hey everyone, I have a problem. My PC refuses to boot.
It will get to the splash screen and then freeze, upon rebooting I get a bsod and a "critical process has died" error. It then boots to repair functions but none have worked. It won't restore, or reset, or auto repair, all end in "no changes...
Spot on.. I had the same problem with my Ryzen build, duel channel helps. And I had the same issue with the sound in Black Ops, I had to go to the sound menu in game and switch to headset, otherwise it always defaulted to my monitor.
I'm that case, if you can't narrow it down to a driver or something, (since it's just shutting off, which is strange), I'd back up files and reinstall windows. Or at least revert back to when this wasn't happening maybe. Since the problem is software only.
So my x370 Pro just crapped out, still don't know why. I'm starting the RMA process. But after looking online quite a few people said it's not that great of a motherboard, so I'm looking to upgrade. Any suggestions on better boards?
My other hardware:
Ryzen 1800x
RX 580 Graphics
16gbs Corsair...
Haha no worries. Okay! If you feel comfortable try to see any settings in the BIOS that may help, or reset to defaults in case something wrong got changed. Otherwise like @jsmithepa said, call in some help and see if they have anything for you.
Gotcha, no worries that's good. Just open Powershell as admin, (should be on your menu when you right click Start), type in
sfc /scannow
This'll check for further issues.
