I believe I found the culprit. Windows 10 will apparently do an update whenever after a certain time frame. So my time frame was set to 8am-5Pm where it would not do automatic restarts for updates but I didn't set my system time during setup because I didn't care about the time and so it hit 5PM...

So probably no biggie then. Is the random restart a cause for concern? I apologize, I'm really anxious about PC builds, with all the money and time spent on it and all the components that could go wrong.

Howdy, I just built a new PC and when I downloaded EVGA Precision X1, the PC restarted on its own without my input and when I came back on it was downloading a Steam update. I wanted to see if I could find the reason so I looked in the Event Viewer in Windows 10 and I don't see where it...

My GPU according to Precision X1 is hovering around 41C. The fans come on when I turn the PC on though I noticed.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I'm not sure, how would I best monitor temperatures? I'm downloading EVGA Precision X1 now... Would MSI Afterburner be better?
