From my understanding most cpus run at a higer voltage than needed to ensure stability, so there is some leeway to undervolt and keep relatively the same performance. But you are still probably right that it will run a bit too hot regardless. I'm still researching what is possible in this build.

Most other games seem to perform "as expected", I was just wondering why he was getting vastly better performance when I generally have better specs all around, except for the ram.

I already have the 6 fans shipped, so I guess I'll be adding them either way, should the front 3 fans all be intake? but what of the other 3 on the top? if they're all exhaust then it won't be positive air pressure right?
