Did you clear your cmos by powering off the pc unplugging it set the jummper next to the battery to "clear" position. remove the battery power it on then off and put the jumper back to the original place, battey back in place. I think that is how its done been so long lol

I would change either the motherboard or cpu. you dont have a k cpu so you cant overclock it really and it would be a waste on the z boards which are for. unless its a typo go with a 6700k or you can save money on a lower model motherboard.
