    Looking at the drives, the one that came with the build is an Intel 660p like you mentioned. The model number is SSDPEKNW512GB. This has the Windows installation on it. The one that I installed later is a 1 TB Samsung SSD 980.

    I inspected the CPU's socket, it doesn't look like anything is wrong. While doing so, I made sure there wasn't too much pressure on the cooler's mounting as I had to take it out and put it back in to reach the CPU.
